Compassion Guides Us.
Indiana Medicaid can pay a family member or trusted friend for the daily care they're often already providing. Compass Family Care is the agency that makes it happen — backed by 15+ years of real case management and caregiver experience across Indiana Medicaid home and community-based services, PathWays for Aging, Health and Wellness, and Traumatic Brain Injury waivers.
Who Compass Family Care Serves:
Families across Indiana caring for a loved one who qualifies for a nursing facility level of care and is approved through Medicaid.
Which waiver applies depends on age and diagnosis: Health and Wellness serves people through 59 and those with a disability, PathWays for Aging serves those 60 and older, and the Traumatic Brain Injury waiver serves Hoosiers of any age with a disability.
If you're managing care at home and need support, ask. Whatever your situation looks like.
What Compass Family Care Offers
Structured Family Caregiving — a Medicaid waiver service for someone who needs daily care at home and lives with the person providing it. That caregiver — the principal caregiver — is paid a daily stipend for the care they give.
The structure is what the agency brings. Compass Family Care qualifies and enrolls the caregiver, provides training built around what your loved one actually needs, and stays involved through quarterly visits from a Caregiver Coach.
The caregiver can be a family member or a trusted friend. The one requirement that doesn't bend is the living arrangement — you and the person you care for share a home, yours or theirs. The stipend is a daily rate covering the whole day, not specific hours.
Attendant Care — direct, hands-on help with bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, mobility, and meals.
Home and Community Assistance — help keeping the household running: cleaning, laundry, linens, meal preparation, errands.
